Dr. Paul points out how Obama administration flout the law when it comes to congressional support for the war participation in Libya. He points out how an American president without congressional approval can give orders to the deaths of both foreign and U.S. citizens, engage in secret military tribunals, engage in torture, without normal legal process, enforce indefinite detention withouty due proess, order search and seizures without judicial approval, ignore the 60-day rule concerning information to Congress about ongoing war and/or military operations, continue the abuses implicit in the Patriot Act, start war on his own and treat all Americans as if they were terrorists.
This is a very strong message from one of Ronald Reagan’s favorites. Dr. Paul has for 30 years been a lonely ruider in the U.S. Congress, and consistently voted according to his conviction. Formally, he is Republican, but definitely not one of the system. Some believes that he will the next U.S. president, because of him being in charge of the fight against today’s financial system and the privately owned Federal Reserve. One new and very pervasive financial system is on its way, and not many of the people knowing this gives much of a chance for the top politicians of today in this new system. This makes it even more interesting to follow this as somewhat aging and very traditionally conservative, but nonetheless very vital Congressman from Texas.
